Urdu Bazaar
Urdu Bazaar () is a market dedicated to Bookstores. During the Mughal Empire, the market close to the royal fort in Delhi (the Red Fort) was called ''Urdu Bazaar'' ("Army/camp Market", from the Turkic word ''ordu'', "army"), and it may be from this that the phrase ''Zaban-e-Urdu'' ("the language of the army/camp") derives. Later the market had mostly bookstores and now any market dedicated to books, especially Urdu language, is called as ''Urdu Bazaar''. There are several ''Urdu Bazaar'' in South Asia: == Pakistan ==
